NBC Summer Predictions: "I Can Do That" is Certain to be Renewed

With a noticeable decline in the network ratings for NBC, I Can Do That is now certain to be renewed. Yes, certain!

I've included an addition to the NBC table with A.D. and American Odyssey. Both have fallen in the ratings and are now certain to be canceled.

Hannibal's second episode has dropped to a new series low of a 0.5 A18-49 rating. It remains a 'certain cancelation'.

CW Summer Predictions: Already Renewed, "Beauty & the Beast" earns a 0.3 A18-49 Rating

Last night, Beauty & the Beast returned to a preliminary 0.3 A18-49 rating. Since it's already renewed for next season, there will be no predictions. Until July at least.

NBC Summer Predictions - 'Hannibal' is Certain to be Canceled

Last week, Hannibal premiered to a series low 0.7 A18-49 rating. On NBC, that is certain cancelation territory. There is no chance that Hannibal will return after the third season, and it is not eligible for the automatic fourth season, regardless of ratings.

Aquarius's rating in episode 2 plummeted to a 0.7 rating, after premiering to a 1.1 A18-49 rating. The show is also certain to be canceled.

FOX Summer Predictions - 'Golan the Insatiable' is Certain to be Canceled

For its premiere, Golan the Insatiable arrived DOA. The current season average is a 0.55 A18-49 rating, and this past Sunday it received a rather woeful 0.5 A18-49 rating. For this reason, the show is certain to be canceled.

CBS Summer Predictions - 'The Briefcase' is Likely to Be Renewed

For the start of the summer season, CBS has one summer show that is currently on the network. The Briefcase currently has a 1.1 A18-49 season average. For now, it will start as "likely to be renewed".

Looking ahead, Zoo will premiere June 30. Until then, I will have little to write about CBS until then.

ABC Summer Predictions: 'Extreme Weight Loss' is a Toss-Up to be Canceled or Renewed

Right now, Extreme Weight Loss currently has a season average of a 0.9 A18-49. In this week's ratings, the show did not air due to the NBA Finals. In its most recent rating, the show garnered a 0.8 A18-49 rating. Normally, I would've put this at "likely canceled", since it is currently the lowest rated program on ABC. But for a reality show, it would make sense to give the benefit of the doubt. Thus, Extreme Weight Loss is a toss-up to be canceled or renewed.

Special Re-Up Edition: NBA Finals Conspiracy

It seems as if this year's NBA Finals may have been one of the highest rated NBA Finals in history. Game 3 garnered a preliminary rating of 5.8 A18-49, which has since adjusted to a 7.3 A18-49 rating.

Tuesday night also showed the season finale of the CW show iZombie, which has garnered a series low 0.5 A18-49 rating, which is not too bad by CW standards. Many commenters on TVByTheNumbers pointed out the impact that the NBA Finals had on the show, with some stating that it has reached ratings levels of The 100.

Tonight, Game 4 will go against Hannibal, Aquarius, Wayward Pines, and the iHeartRadio's Summer Pool Party. The question is, will its impact cause one show to dip towards cancelation? At this point for the beginning of the summer season, it's practically too early to tell.

My ratings predictions are that Hannibal will garner a 0.6 new series low, Wayward Pines will get a 1.0, and Aquarius will be a 0.5 in the A 18-49 rating. The reason why is that having Aquarius as a lead in is questionable at best. Also, it is the summer season and networks have lower expectations.
